Job Description

Your main tasks are to participate in projects from the design phase through to commissioning at our customers’ sites:

  • Analysis of specifications;
  • Contribute to drawing up specifications, with the aim of identifying technical solutions that meet project requirements;
  • Definition of architectures (e.g. electrical, pneumatic, instrumentation, PLC, etc.);
  • Production of design files;
  • Follow-up of execution, suppliers and subcontractors;
  • Participation in workshop tests and validation protocols;
  • Follow-up and participation in installation assignments;
  • Follow-up and updating of technical files at all stages of the project;

 

Profile

  • Engineer or bachelor’s degree in automation or industrial electricity;
  • At least 3 years’ industrial experience;
  • You are interested in automation, electrical design and instrumentation: design, programming, modification of industrial installations, production of drawings and diagrams, etc. ;
  • Very good knowledge of PLCs and HMIs (Siemens, Beckhoff, etc.);
  • Your specialty is programming in the broad sense, as found in industry: PLCs (Siemens, Beckhoff,…), Drives (Siemens, Schneider, SEW), Embedded systems, HMI (WinCC, C#.NET, Wonderware,…)
  • Good knowledge of electrical engineering, drives and actuators;
  • Good knowledge of instrumentation, sensors and transmitters;
  • Good knowledge of electrical CAE software (ePlan Electric P8, Autocad Electrical);
  • Compliance with electrical design safety standards;
  • Knowledge of programming (TIA, Codesys, C++, C#, LabView, etc.) is an asset;
  • Knowledge of robotics (ABB, Staubli, Fanuc, etc.) is an asset;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Office Project…);
  • Good command of French and English;
  • Integrity, curiosity and willingness to join a multidisciplinary team;
  • Autonomous, proactive and good communicator;
  • Organized and able to handle different projects at the same time.
