Located in the Liège Science Park, Cilyx is a recognized Belgian player specializing in the design and manufacturing of machines and production systems, as well as testing and measurement solutions. The company’s growth has exceeded 15% over the past decade.

CILYX stands out for its ability to design, develop, and integrate special machines, custom production equipment, and innovative technological solutions in close collaboration with its clients. With extensive experience and broad knowledge across various industrial sectors, the company is committed to tailoring its solutions to optimally meet the specific needs of each client.

The company boasts a leading engineering department with cutting-edge expertise in research and development (R&D). CILYX maintains its excellence through ongoing training for its team, ensuring its position as a leader in electromechanics, automation, and Industry 4.0.

Ideally situated in the Liège Science Park, in close proximity to the University with which it regularly collaborates, CILYX has considerable infrastructure dedicated to the development of complex production equipment. The company comprises a team of 85 individuals, including over 70 specialized engineers and technicians. Its scope extends across multiple markets, with a notable presence in the European market.

2009 – Establishment of Citius Engineering SA by Fabien Defays and Grégory Reichling

2012 – Citius acquires Engiconcept, a company specializing in mechanical consulting.

2014 – Citius takes over a portion of KS Techniques’ activities, focusing on automation.

2017 – Citius revives the operations of WOW Technology and establishes Ciseo in Naninne, specializing in machines and production equipment for the Life Sciences sectors.

2018 – Citius moves into its new premises at the Sart-Tilman Science Park in Liège.

2021 – Citius acquires IRA, a company specialized in distribution systems such as vibratory bowls and centrifugal systems. The second building is constructed at the Sart-Tilman site, and Ciseo joins Citius.

2023 – Citius, Ciseo, and IRA merge to become Cilyx.
